Although Diablo 4 players expected their problems with Andariel’s Visage to end with patch 1.4.3, many continued to complain that no new fixes had been implemented into the game.

Being an Uber Unique, Andariel’s Visage is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4, even after the drop rate improvements in Season 4. That said, it has also received a lot of support from the players due to its inconsistent damage and Poison Nova bug that almost affects the players themselves.

Patch 1.4.3 was supposed to fix these issues and as expected the notes included a section clearly stating that Andariel’s Visage will have a 50% damage buff and that poison pools will form around the enemies instead of the players.

However, these results were not implemented into the game, as reported by Reddit user ‘zopikl0n’ in the Diablo 4 subreddit. They claimed that Andariel Visage is still “bugged” even after patch 1.4.3, and even though the poison pool animation happens near enemies, the effect is still present to the players.

It would be quite problematic for many if poison pools formed around players, as the enemies would not take damage as intended. “Wow, are they even testing their patch?” asked another player, surprised by the missing solution.

Obtaining items like Andariel’s Visage is much easier in Season 4.

Many players were excited to try out Andariel’s Visage in Diablo 4 after reading the new patch notes, but had to back out after witnessing the results. “F**k, I got excited to play Andy Build,” another player added, while others claimed the bug was “pretty ridiculous” in nature.

The bug isn’t the only backlash Andariel’s Visage is experiencing, however, as some have pointed out that the 50% damage boost for Poison Nova isn’t working either. “The only thing they actually changed was the tooltip and the visual. The damage and effect are still the same as before the patch,” one player clarified.

“I don’t understand how this happens every time they patch this damn game. For example, how does this happen? I had my Andy Rogue all ready to go. And then this,” added another disappointed Diablo 4 player.

After such a huge outpouring of complaints about Andariel’s Visage, it’s likely that Blizzard will release a hotfix to address this issue in Diablo 4. In the meantime, you can try another Uber Unique from your arsenal with your go-to build to combat the aftereffects to check from patch 1.4.3 itself.
