Logitech Keys-to-Go 2 is the portable iPad keyboard for those who need to type on the go but don’t want to build a keyboard into their tablet’s case. It is a standalone accessory designed to travel with a tablet or to be left behind when not needed.

“We understand the challenges mobile professionals face and their desire to find solutions that help them carry less and do more, wherever they are,” said Joseph Mingori, general manager of mobile solutions and partnerships at Logitech. “Keys-To-Go 2 is a highly personalized device that creates an ideal workspace wherever your workspace is.”

As popular as Apple Magic Keyboard is, the accessory assumes that the user will want to carry a keyboard with them most of the time. But many iPad users would prefer a case that keeps their tablet thin and light.

However, sometimes a keyboard is necessary. That’s where the Logitech Keys-to-Go 2 comes in handy. It is a portable keyboard with a built-in flip-around cover. Scissor keys are used.

The accessory connects to up to three devices via Bluetooth, so it can be paired with an iPad and a few iPhones or perhaps a MacBook. One version is Apple-specific (iPadOS, iOS, and macOS) and a second is Universal (Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS, and macOS).

The Apple version is light gray and graphite. The Universal adds a lilac color.

Those who want a more traditional keyboard case for their iPad may want to consider Logitech Combo Touch instead.
